WHO WE ARE:
I grew up on a farm in Fort St. John, BC with many animals like chickens,
turkeys, pigs, many cats and a dog. Being the only boy with 5 sisters, I worked
hard on the farm - I used to love getting away from it all so I would take my dog
to the bush & could often spend the whole day there. My mom never worried
about me as long as she knew I had my best friend Amigo with me.
She hunted for most of her food as she was part Wolf & part German
Shepherd. She would often bring home 'gifts' and leave them in the front
yard. We always had many cats as far back as I can remember and I had much
'quality time' with them. I never dreamed that I could hang out with animals for
a living but somehow I landed my dream job. I didn't realize just how
rewarding it would be to impact the lives of my fur friends. I love to hear that
the dogs are walking better or the cats are relaxed & happy when they return
home.
I have a great dog that we rescued. He has many great hiking buddies, loves
swimming, toys, treats & belly rubs. I feel so priveleged to be owned by some
really great cats. I love when they wait for me at the door and want to play that
is the best part! I truly am thankful for all our clients that have invited us into
their homes and allowed us to be part of their special friend's life.
Wags 2 Whiskers was founded with one goal in mind - to provide the finest
possible care to cats and dogs (and the occasional parrot, exotic bird, ferret,
hamster, reptile, puppy, turtle, bearded dragon, fish or snakes).
Pet care is a client service business; it requires a deep level of
trust and responsibility along with an unabashed sense of love
and caring for all animals. We never forget our commitment to these core
values and strive to be our best every day, no matter what the West Coast
weather throws our way. Our company is built on honesty, integrity, and
compassion and an unceasing desire to meet your pet's every need and
surpass your every expectation. While we have fun doing what we do, we also
take our responsibilities very seriously. We treat your pets as our own

BENEFITS TO CHOOSING US?
Because we are owner-serviced we can be flexible with our pricing and can
offer lower rates for longer assignments. There are no cancellation fees. You
pay only if and when the service begins.
We do our best to accommodate last minute service.
Short assignments are always welcome. :))

If you have to cancel, we know it's for a good reason, there is no
fees. We are dedicated to building relationships with our clients
and their pets based on 'mutual' trust and respect.

owned company that started out of our love for pets and our belief that all pets
deserve the best care in their own home. We perform all petsitting ourselves
(we don't contract work out to other sitters).
